Recap Q3 2018: Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s Largest Sales Revenue Quarter

Once again, Medical Marijuana, Inc. and our family of companies has once again set the bar for our continued revenue growth.

For the third quarter in a row in 2018, Medical Marijuana, Inc. and our portfolio of companies have notched a record quarter in Q3. Medical Marijuana, Inc. Q3 2018 sales revenue exceeded $16 million, an increase of more than 116% over Q3 2017. The company reported net ordinary income in excess of $600,000 in Q3 2018.These results are indicative of our year so far. Here are our highlights from Q3.

Month After Month of Growth

Kannaway has been on a roll this year, setting monthly revenue records nearly every month this year so far this year. We repeated this trend in July and August in Q3. With September revenue numbers still being finalized, Medical Marijuana, Inc. is waiting with anticipation to see if we once again topped last month’s sales.  

This incredible growth trend is linked to efforts by our entire portfolio of companies. The Medical Marijuana, Inc. family of companies have worked hard this year to bring CBD and hemp products to new markets around the world and to introduce new products to our wide range of hemp and CBD oil brands.

Here are just a few of the ways we’ve continued to build Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s presence around the world.

New Products Drive Sales

To begin Q3, Medical Marijuana, Inc. brand Dixie Botanicals® launched its first CBD Vape Cartridge. Aimed towards the physically active consumer, this disposable CBD Vape Cartridge provides fast, efficient, and extremely portable CBD, whenever and wherever you want it. Each vape cartridge contains 250 mg of CBD from high quality distillate and is flavored using terpenes for natural pine and citrus flavors. Kannaway, the first direct sales company to focus on the CBD market, released it’s newest pet product in July, Dante’s Pure Hemp Oil. This THC-free product contains 1000 mg of CBD per bottle. It’s liquid format makes it easy giving your pet CBD each day.

In late August, Dixie Botanicals® once again added to its product line when it introduced their CBD Gel Caps. These easy to swallow gel caps include 25 mg of CBD each with 30 caps in each bottle. Get yours here.

Worldwide Events Share Benefits of CBD

Our portfolio of companies hosted, sponsored, or participated in a number of events around the globe.

HempMeds® participated in a pair of events in Q3 with the aim of promoting award-winning CBD brands like Real Scientific Hemp Oil™ and Dixie Botanicals® to businesses and consumers interested in CBD. First, HempMeds® traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to take part in the Natural Products East business to business event.

Just a couple weeks later in September, HempMeds® participated in the Cannabis World Congress and Business Expo in Los Angeles. At both events, HempMeds® hosted a booth on the expo floor, allowing HempMeds® representatives, executives, and spokespersons to interact with event attendees, demonstrate the company’s line of CBD oil products, and answer any questions they may have.

Phyto Animal Health continued its grassroots campaign for introducing their line of CBD products designed specifically for pets. This campaign includes Q&A forums held at businesses like Carlsbad Pet & Feed. Events like this hosted by Phyto Animal Health CEO Ian Quinn allow the company to reach out to potential customers where they shop and address any concerns they may have about starting their pets on CBD.

Subsidiary HempMeds® Brasil hosted the Third Meeting of Former Residents of Neurology at John Paul II Children’s Hospital in Brazil on August 25. The purpose of this event was to educate new healthcare practitioners in the country on the advantages of CBD and best practices for prescribing CBD products.

Finally, Kannaway hosted a series events across Europe as part of a pair of European Tours. With stops in over a dozen cities and thousands of people reached, these events were meant to build excitement among the Kannaway community and potential brand ambassadors leading up to the company’s official Europe Grand Opening scheduled for Prague this November. Kannaway Sports

Medical Marijuana, Inc. subsidiary Kannaway launched it’s Kannaway Sports initiative last November. Since then, the company has added several notable athletes to the Kannaway Sports team, including three in the last three months. These sports stars have added Kannaway CBD products to their daily routines and provided testimonials of their results to help promote the use of CBD among athletes and those living an active, healthy lifestyle.

First, in July, Kannaway announced that swimmer and six-time Olympic Gold Medalist Amy Van Dyken had partnered with Kannaway Sports. Then in August, Kannaway added Pro Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Goose Gossage. Finally, in late September, Kannaway announced that Super Bowl Champion Derek Kennard had provided his testimonial for the company’s Kannaway Sports page. Kannaway plans to announce additional athletes to the Kannaway Sports team in the coming months.
